Product Overview:
The ZW□-12/T630-25 outdoor high-voltage AC vacuum circuit breaker is a key device designed for 12 kV overhead distribution lines. By deeply integrating the primary switching unit with the secondary measurement, control, and protection terminal, it is widely used in applications such as line sectionalizing, tie connections, and customer demarcation points. The device enables line control and fault handling while supporting distribution automation requirements.
On the primary side, the core component is a pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker, equipped with current transformers, voltage transformers, power-taking capacitors, and, in some configurations, single-side or double-side disconnecting switches. On the secondary side, a feeder terminal unit (FTU) is provided as standard, incorporating metering, protection, and communication modules. All components are interconnected via military-grade aviation connectors and fully insulated cables with standardized interfaces, reducing on-site wiring risks.
Technical Features:
1. Strong structural adaptability:
The product generally adopts a three-phase independent pole structure, preventing single-phase faults from developing into three-phase short circuits. The enclosure is made of corrosion-resistant materials such as S304 stainless steel, with a protection level up to IP67, providing resistance to moisture and condensation and suitability for harsh outdoor environments including high salinity, high altitude, and extremely cold regions. The overall lightweight design, with some models weighing ≤130 kg, facilitates pole-mounted outdoor installation.
2. Comprehensive safety protection:
Complete mechanical interlocking is provided. For example, the disconnecting switch cannot be opened when the circuit breaker is closed, and it can only be operated after the breaker is opened, preventing incorrect operations. In addition, the poles adopt epoxy resin solid insulation technology, featuring low partial discharge and stable insulation performance, further ensuring operational safety.
3. Reliable switching and fault handling capability:
The breaker supports both manual and motorized opening and closing operations. Combined with vacuum interrupters, it can reliably interrupt short-circuit currents up to 20 kA, with a short-circuit breaking capability of up to 30 operations. The device is equipped with automatic reclosing functions, with adjustable reclosing times and intervals. It can accurately identify and rapidly isolate faults such as single-phase grounding and phase-to-phase short circuits, minimizing outage scope. In customer demarcation applications, it can automatically clear customer-side faults and upload fault information.
4. Flexible configuration and expandability:
The operating mechanism can be selected as either spring-operated or permanent-magnet type. The type and ratio of current and voltage transformers can be flexibly configured, with phase CTs and zero-sequence CTs combined as required. Multiple series of intelligent terminals are available. In addition, interfaces are reserved for expansion functions such as temperature and partial discharge monitoring, allowing compatibility with various intelligent sensors and supporting future distribution network intelligence upgrades.
5. Environmentally oriented design:
The product adopts an oil-free design and does not use SF₆ or other greenhouse gases. Insulation and interruption are achieved through air insulation and vacuum arc-extinguishing technology. During manufacturing, lightweight and integrated design concepts are applied to reduce the use of epoxy resin and ferromagnetic materials, aligning with the environmental objectives of carbon reduction in distribution networks. After decommissioning, the equipment also reduces environmental disposal pressure.
